Tall Ship sailing – a day out with a difference!
If you dream of adventure on the high seas, experience the joys of sailing on a series of day sails along the south coast from Portsmouth and Southampton on board the magnificent tall ship, Stavros S Niarchos, or a round-the-world Challenger Yacht this autumn.
These day sails with Tall Ships Adventures are an ideal introduction to sailing. You get the chance to hoist the sails, haul on the ropes, take the helm and help sail the vessel out to sea, all under the expert tuition of the professional crew. Day sails on Stavros S Niarchos also give you the exhilarating opportunity to climb the rigging of the 120 foot mast.
Day Sails, which cost £89 per person, are open to anyone aged 16 to 75 and will operate on various dates from Portsmouth and Southampton from 18 October to 16 November. Coffee, bacon butties, lunch and afternoon tea are all included as well as waterproofs, safety equipment and training.
